Gutenberg Teaching Council (GLK), University of Mainz

Dr. Isa Jahnke is member of the scientific advisory board of the Gutenberg Teaching Council (GTC or GLK in German) at the University of Mainz in Germany. The annual meeting took place in February 2016. This was the third year, and a new board will be elected soon.


The main purpose of GTC is to support teaching and learning in higher education, continuously reflecting and improving the way of teaching to enhance student learning - of course, digital technologies play a role. GTC offers different programs for teachers, instructors and students such as a teaching sabbaticals, going abroad for teaching at a university in another country, teacher exchange, and more.
