There is a great opportunity in Washington D.C. to learn about user experience studies from the profession . Also a great opportunity for networking with researchers. The conference takes place in April, 14-15, 2017 at the Washington Hilton hotel.

From the website:

"UX practices are changing and expanding across public, private, nonprofit, and associations-influenced and informed by more types of expertise than ever before. When it comes to UX in the upcoming months, learning from one another at interactive events is a critical component of keeping up with an ever-changing field"

Our presentation is about, "A Next-Generation Augmented Reality Platform for Mass Casualty Incidents". We, Dr. Fatih Demir and Dr. Isa Jahnke, University of Missouri-Columbia, will present the results from user experience and usability study.

The study has been conducted in our IE Lab (https://ielab.missouri.edu ) together with Dr. Prasad Calyam and his team, and Dr. Salman Ahmad.
